On PC, attaching errors.log helps a lot. It sits next to your saves folder (see below).

COMMON QUESTIONS

Where are my saves?

On PC: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\bit-universe\Bit Universe\saves. On phones they live in the app's own storage. Each slot also keeps a backup copy that loads automatically if the main file is damaged.

I got a new phone. Can I keep my progress?

Yes, if you restore from a device backup: iPhone backups and Android Auto Backup both include your saves. Double Income comes back by itself from your store account, or use Menu › Restore purchases.

I watched an ad but didn't get the boost.

The boost is given only when the ad reports it was watched to the end. Closing early doesn't count, and an ad that fails or is skipped doesn't use up one of your 8 daily boosts. If an ad finished and nothing happened, email us with the time.

Double Income isn't showing.

Go online and open Menu › Restore purchases. A purchase waiting for approval, such as Ask to Buy, unlocks by itself once it's approved, even while you play.

My offline earnings look low.

By default the game earns 50% for up to 2 hours while closed. Buy Offline Management in each world's Governor's Office to raise that, up to 100% for 48 hours. A Prestige resets it.

A save slot says it can't be opened.

The game never overwrites a damaged slot, or one saved by a newer version. Update the game first. If it still won't open, email us before you delete it.

Can I move my save between PC and phone?

No. Each platform keeps its own saves; there is no cross-save between PC and mobile.

Does it work with a controller?

Yes. The controls table in the Player guide lists every button.

How do I delete my data?

Delete your save slots from the title screen, or uninstall the game. We don't keep any of your data on servers.
