Spatial Workshop · Bit Universe
Privacy policy
Effective October 22, 2026 · Publisher: Bit Universe · Contact: support@bit-universe.net
This policy applies to Spatial Workshop on Meta Quest. The Bit Universe city-builder policy and policies for other games describe different products.
Local progress and preferences
The game saves a local profile identifier and default profile name, campaign and practice progress, puzzle attempts and solution history, your unfinished puzzle, settings and tray calibration in app storage on your headset. These records let the game save your place, show your progress and apply your preferences. The local profile is not a Meta account profile. The game does not ask you to enter a name, email address or separate account during ordinary play.
Headset, hand and controller tracking
The game processes current headset, hand and controller poses to position the view, display input and respond to gestures and buttons. It does not record raw hand-motion histories. Optional Room view uses the headset's passthrough display. The game does not read raw camera images, scan your room, use a microphone or request eye-tracking data or precise geographic location.
Meta platform services and backups
The Meta Platform SDK initializes platform services and checks the current user's entitlement to run the app. Meta processes the associated platform requests and Store transactions under Meta's Privacy Policy. The game does not request your friends list, Meta display name or email address, and does not receive your payment card details.
Meta's Cloud Backup may back up or restore app saves and preferences when enabled for the app and account. The beta build excludes its support-report and development-command folders from app backup rules. Backup availability and retention depend on Meta and your platform settings. Uninstalling or clearing local data does not delete platform backups or Meta account records. You can inspect and delete app backups through your Meta account's Cloud Backups controls; check all devices associated with your account.
Support reports and messages
Settings → Save support report writes a file on this headset. Nothing is automatically emailed or uploaded to Bit Universe. The report includes app/engine versions, device model, operating system, GPU/memory information, settings, puzzle/progress identifiers, save counters and timestamps with fixed warning/error categories. The revised beta export excludes raw warning text and stack traces. The revised beta retains at most ten generated support reports on the device. Files from older test builds may still contain older diagnostic information.
If you email support or choose to send a file, we receive your email address, message and attachments. We use that information to answer you, investigate the issue or fulfill a privacy request. Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, payment details or information unrelated to the request. The game does not operate a developer gameplay-analytics service, advertising system, chat service or social feed. We do not sell your information or use it for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
Local saves remain until you clear them. Reset progress → Erase progress clears active campaign and practice progress but preserves settings and calibration; recovery saves, quarantined files and local support reports may remain. For a full local reset, use the headset's app-storage controls to clear app data, or uninstall and check your backup settings before reinstalling.
Support correspondence and attachments are retained for as long as needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal or security obligations. Anyone, in any region, may request access, correction or deletion of information they sent to us by emailing support@bit-universe.net with the game name. There is no fee for making a deletion request. We may ask for limited information to locate the record and verify the request. We will address information we control and explain any retention required for legal or security reasons. Meta account records and backups are managed by Meta through its account controls.
Audience and changes
Spatial Workshop is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older. If you believe information relating to a younger person has been sent to us, contact support using the same route. We update this policy when the game's data practices change and revise the effective date accordingly.
