1. Who we are
Learn to Juggle is made by Kevin Savill, an independent developer. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the developer. Questions and requests: [email protected].
2. Progress, settings and diagnostics
The game stores completed skills, medals, trick progress, arcade records, daily-challenge streaks and settings in private storage on your headset, with a local backup copy. Settings include your lead hand, seated or standing calibration, comfort reach, hand fit, controller information, sound, accessibility and assistance choices. We do not upload save files to a developer gameplay server.
The optional Local playtest log is off by default. When enabled, it records gameplay events, game version, settings, timing and memory figures in files on your headset. The game does not automatically upload them. Turning logging off stops new entries but does not remove existing files. Logs you choose to send to support are handled under section 5.
3. Meta platform services and backup
At startup, the Quest edition uses the Meta Horizon Platform SDK to verify that the signed-in account owns the app or has access through a release channel. Verification may require a working connection and Meta account. If verification fails, the game blocks access and displays an explanation. There is no separate Learn to Juggle account, and the game does not request your Meta email address.
When platform services are available, earned achievement unlocks and eligible arcade scores are sent automatically to Meta, which associates them with your platform user ID. Leaderboards can show your Meta username or display name, score and rank to other players. There are assisted and unassisted boards for the five arcade modes. The game does not currently offer a separate leaderboard opt-out or hide-my-scores switch.
We can view leaderboard entries and platform statistics in Meta's developer tools to operate the features and investigate invalid scores. Meta handles payment; the game does not receive payment-card details. Meta Cloud Backup may include app saves and diagnostic files according to your headset and backup settings. This is platform backup, not a developer-operated live cross-save service.
Meta processes account, store, platform and backup information under Meta's privacy policy. Use Meta's account, privacy and Cloud Backup controls to manage provider-held information.
4. Tracking, mixed reality and advertising
Controller poses and, when used, hand-joint positions are processed during play to position the virtual hands and balls. Mixed reality displays system-provided passthrough. The current game does not record microphone audio, camera images, passthrough images or a room scan, and does not transmit that information to us.
The current Quest game has no advertising SDK, in-app purchase SDK, separate developer gameplay analytics service or developer gameplay server. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Platform providers may process their own service and diagnostic information under their policies.
5. Support and this website
If you email support, we and our email service provider receive your email address, message and attachments to respond and investigate. Send only what is needed; do not send passwords or payment-card details. We retain correspondence while needed for the request, follow-up, security or legal obligations, then delete it when no longer needed. You can request deletion of information you sent.
Our website code adds no advertising or analytics scripts and does not set cookies. Fonts and images are served with the site. Cloudflare hosts it and processes IP addresses, request details and network diagnostics for delivery and security under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
6. Audience
The Quest edition is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over, subject to the platform's applicable age requirements. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate. A store content rating describes suitability and does not change the data practices above.
7. Retention, deletion and your choices
Local saves and logs remain until removed. Uninstalling the Quest app normally removes local app data, but platform backups may remain or restore it on reinstallation. Manage Cloud Backup separately through Meta. The current game does not offer an in-game reset or a separate online-services opt-out.
Deleting the game does not delete Meta purchase records, achievements, leaderboard entries, backups or support emails. For access, correction or deletion of information you sent us, email [email protected]. For game leaderboard or achievement records, include your Meta username and the relevant feature so we can identify the record and help with available platform tools. Do not send credentials. Some records are controlled by Meta and must be managed through its privacy controls; we cannot directly erase all provider-held information.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority. We respond as applicable law requires. Providers retain information under their policies and obligations and may process it in countries other than yours.
8. Changes and contact
This policy covers the current Learn to Juggle Quest edition, including Early Access. If data practices change, we will update this page and effective date, with notice of material changes in update notes or another appropriate notice.
