DODGE COURT PRIVACY

Game information, support and deletion requests

This policy covers Dodge Court for Meta Quest, including invited beta builds. It does not cover the separate Bit Universe city-builder or Learn to Ping Pong games. Contact support@bit-universe.net for privacy questions.

Information used for play

The game reads headset, controller and tracked-hand positions, orientations, timing and button or gesture state to render your view and avatar, position the hands, and simulate throws, catches, blocks and movement. This is device and motion information even when it is used only briefly. Ordinary gameplay does not save raw motion recordings.

The game does not request microphone recordings, eye tracking, room scans, camera images, contacts or precise geographic location. Optical hand tracking is supplied by the headset runtime; the game uses the resulting poses and hand mesh rather than reading camera images.

Local information

The app stores your chosen player alias, settings, play-space standing height, practice completion and last LAN address in app preferences. If online play is used, it may store the online player ID and authentication/session information needed to restore that service identity. Your current center and facing alignment are captured for the session. Match scores and statistics are held as gameplay state.

If you import music, the Android document picker lets you select a file and the app copies the selected audio into its Music folder. It does not request access to your whole music library. Music stays local and is not uploaded to other players or to our servers.

Private multiplayer and online services

Solo play works offline. In LAN play, the host and participants exchange aliases, team/ready/availability state, head and hand poses, interaction flags and match state over the local network. Participants can see your chosen alias, avatar movement and gameplay. Network addresses are needed to connect. Avoid using a real name as your alias if you do not want to share it.

Internet rooms are optional and only available in configured builds. Creating or joining one initializes Unity Gaming Services Authentication and Multiplayer Sessions/Relay, which may use Lobby. Authentication creates or reuses an anonymous service ID and stores session information on the device. Anonymous sign-in means there is no player-created login; the service ID is still user data. Unity processes the service ID, IP address and connection/session information needed to operate the services. Motion and gameplay packets are relayed for live play; the game does not upload them as persistent motion recordings.

The host's headset runs match authority. A room code provides access to a private room; share it only with intended players. The game does not provide public text chat, voice chat, advertising, in-app purchases or a developer analytics dashboard.

See Unity's Privacy Policy and its privacy information for Authentication, Relay and Lobby. Service providers may process information outside your country under their applicable terms and safeguards.

Optional diagnostics

If you choose to record a frame report, the app saves a local JSON report with the game/engine version, device model/class, graphics information, frame intervals, player counts and Unity memory totals. It excludes names, motion coordinates, music paths, persistent device identifiers and login tokens. Nothing is uploaded automatically. You decide whether to send a report to support.

Support and conduct reports

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer questions, investigate faults, handle privacy requests and address conduct reports. A report sent through Meta's app-reporting service may include the reporter's details, report reasons and submitted evidence according to the reporting flow shown by Meta. We use relevant reports to investigate safety and conduct issues and take appropriate action.

We do not sell personal information or use the game's information for targeted advertising. We share information only as needed to provide the described services, respond to requests, address abuse, comply with legal obligations or protect users and service security.

Retention

Local settings, imported audio, service identity information and frame reports remain until you remove them or clear the app's data. Live game state is used during the session and is not saved as a developer-hosted match history by this implementation. Version 0.5.2 and later exclude local game data from automatic backups and device transfers. After uninstalling the app, clearing its data or resetting the headset, settings, imported music and diagnostics are not restored by the app. Any backups from earlier versions are managed separately through Meta.

Unity's documentation reviewed on October 23, 2026 describes Authentication information as retained until deleted, Relay personal data for 30 days, and player IDs in Lobby logs for up to 30 days. These are separate services and deleting an Authentication account does not immediately delete all related service logs. Routine support correspondence is retained for up to 12 months after a request closes. Conduct and security reports are retained for up to 24 months after the investigation closes, unless an active appeal, legal obligation or security matter requires longer retention. We review extended retention when that reason ends. You can request deletion through the contact below.

Access and deletion

All users can request access, correction or deletion of information processed for Dodge Court by emailing support@bit-universe.net. Making a deletion request is free. Include the game name and, for online information, the player ID shown in Help → Privacy and Support if available. If you cannot obtain it, contact us for assistance. We may ask for limited information needed to find the records and verify your request. Do not send passwords or authentication tokens.

Help → Privacy and Support offers a local data deletion control with confirmation. It removes app settings, imported audio and local diagnostics from that installation and closes the game. Local deletion retains the online service identity and recovery credentials so you can still use the separate online deletion control. It does not request deletion of Unity service records. Delete the online account first if you want both removed, then clear local game data. You can clear the remaining installation credentials using the headset app-data controls or uninstall; platform backups are managed separately. If a recoverable online identity is available, the separate online account deletion control requests deletion from Unity Authentication. We can also help address records we control and coordinate applicable requests with service providers. We explain any information retained for legal or security reasons.

Uninstalling or clearing local storage does not necessarily remove platform backups, store transactions or Meta account information. Manage those through Meta. We cannot erase screenshots or recordings independently kept by other players.

Platform and website

Meta handles store distribution, platform services, account records, reporting and any platform backups under Meta's Privacy Policy. The app does not collect payment-card details. Where an app ownership check is enabled, Meta platform services check access to the app.

The Bit Universe website hosts this policy and support information on Cloudflare Pages. These pages load local site assets and do not add advertising or analytics scripts. Hosting infrastructure can process connection/security information such as IP address, request time and requested resource to deliver and protect the site; see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Audience and changes

Dodge Court is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child's information has been processed, contact support using the same deletion route. The Meta content rating and regional account rules also apply.

We update this policy when the game's data practices change. The effective date identifies this version. Privacy and support contact: support@bit-universe.net.
